Face-to-Face With the Civil War

This event will be held at Hardesty Regional Library.
Event Description: Come face-to-face with the Civil War. From artillery to camp music, members of the Tulsa Civil War Round Table will give you an up-close look. See a display of clothing, tools, flags and other artifacts used by Johnny Reb and Billy Yank. “Explainers” will help you understand how these objects were used.
This event is for all ages.

Summer Reading Program Kickoff and Sign-up Party

This event will be held at Pratt Library.
Event Description: Be among the first kids to sign up for the summer reading program at Pratt Library, and then stick around for games, munchies and lots of “buggy” fun!

This event will be held at Hardesty Regional Library.
Event Description: Join us to discuss Franco Zeffirelli’s “Hamlet,” featuring Mel Gibson and Glenn Close. Film critic David Ramirez will lead the discussion.
This event is for adults and teens.

Jump-Start the Future for Your Work: Small-Business Wrap-up

This event will be held at Hardesty Regional Library.
Event Description: Join us for a full day of speakers, networking, and the opportunity to visit with local representatives from various business and personal organizations. The workshop also includes breakout sessions on various issues in starting a small business, such as financing, patents and trademarks, e-commerce, franchising, home-based business and much more. Motivational speaker Randy Clay will start the day, and Risha Grant with Xposure Business Magazine will end the day as the final speaker.
