Black Friday…

and I am not shopping. Of course, if I belonged to the one percent of the population that has millions and billions of dollars that might be different. But I don’t, so I’m spending today at home with my family, including my husband who took the day off to be with us, not the mall or the golf course.

I do want to take a moment to thank Mary MacIntyre over at about-albuquerquenm for her non-pharmaceutical suggestions for pain and nausea relief. Some of them I had heard of, like peppermint and chamomile tea for nausea. But, the clove compress for pain was a new one for me. I knew that cloves worked for tooth pain, but I wouldn’t have thought to use it for post surgery pain. So, thanks Mary for the helpful suggestions.
