HallowZooeen and HallowMarine

by

The Tulsa Zoo and Oklahoma Aquarium are having Halloween events this weekend leading up to Halloween next Wednesday.

The Zoo is having their annual HallowZooeen. Having been a zoo friend for several years and attending this event every year we were members , I can personally recommend this event. It is always a huge blast for the kids and tolerable for the adults. You can’t always say that about these things. Here’s what the Zoo says:

HallowZOOeen 2007

For eighteen years, Tulsans have been going “boo” at the zoo and this year’s annual HallowZOOeen will continue to be a Green Country tradition! Join us for this not-too scary trick-or-treat event for the whole family. The zoo offers an alternative to traditional Halloween activities and gives kids a safe place to enjoy the holiday.

Miscellaneous: Approximately 15,000 little ghosts and goblins visit the zoo during this 5 night treat-or-treat adventure. Annually, HallowZOOeen raises over $50,000 to help build a better zoo.

We haven’t been to the Aquarium’s HallowMarine before, so I don’t have a personal recommendation. With their pirate-themed Halloween I’m sure that it will be a big hit this year. Maybe we’ll even make the trip out to Jenks for a little pirate booty this year.

Hiya, I was reading something different about this on another blog. Interesting. Your perspective onto it is diametrically contradicted from what I read earlier. I’m still pondering with the opposite points of view, but I’m leaning to a great extent toward yours. And irrespective, that’s what is so great about modern-day democracy and the marketplace of ideas online.
