I am sick again. I swear every time I think I’m finally over this stupid virus, it starts back up again. It seems like weeks and weeks since I’ve really felt 100%.

Yesterday Maegan brought home a note from school saying thatMonday afternoon they were officially notified of a case of MRSA(Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus). Which means that the whole school has been exposed. Great. They did say that they had thoroughly sanitized the school after receiving notice of the infection. Of course, who knows how long the kid had it before seeing a doctor for it. And of course the kid’s name is kept confidential, which I understand, but you still worry that it was your kid’s classmate that was the source.

The school did send home a health department fact sheet onĀ  MRSA. It was pretty informative, but I prefer to look up things like this online. There are plenty of good reference sites for this sort of thing. Here are some of them:
